Cyclone Alfred: Brisbane comes to a standstill with schools closed, buses and trains cancelled

Brisbane and south-east Queensland will go into an effective lock-down with more than 500 schools shut, public transport stopped, and people are urged to stay inside their homes Thursday and Friday.
